Pimp My Ride...Kilkenny Style (or possibly Sligo or Galway style)
I took these photos in the Market Cross Shopping Centre car park in Kilkenny on a Sunday morning about 2 weeks ago.
Only getting around to uploading them now...
As you can, someone was very good at art & craft on the Saturday night before these were taken
They even made a penis out of balloons. How novel!
And then wrote Galway Hookers with silly string on the back window.
In other news, we have a pigeon trapped in the roof above our office. We dont know where he got in, but he is between the false ceiling and the roof.
We have decided to name him Paul...and if anyone has any ideas on how to free Paul or to catch him to we can free him to the wilds, can they please let me know.
He's ever so noisy.

Friday is National Duvet Day
http://www.duvetday.org/
This Friday, Feb 29th is National Duvet Day!
duvetday.org invites employers, employees, students and school children to have a duvetday every 4 years, starting the “29th February 2008”. By having a duvetday every leap year and staying at home, you could help the environment by reducing Carbon emissions for that day by up to 80%.
What a great idea!!!

Never mind the puppet, Vote for Donal!

My good friend Donal Skehan is one of the 6 finalists in this years Eurosong competition. Of course, the winner of that competition will go on to represnt Ireland in the Eurovision.
Donal is quite the prolific blogger and his latest one is The Mood Food Blog.
Donal is probably the biggest fan of Eurovision I've ever met, but don't hold that against him. He also has poured his heart and soul into getting this far with his song, "Double Cross My Heart".
As I share an office at work with Donal, I've heard the song close on 100 times now, and have to say that it is worth a vote!
So when it comes to decision night on Feb 23rd, please give donal your text vote...
The day of voting is aslo my birthday, so you can make the vote for Donal my present this year...

Need a cheap card?
So it turns out I may never ever have to buy a greeting card again.
Here you will find a range of free to use Tesco Value Cards for you to print out a Tesco value card for you to use as needed.
All of these Tesco Value Cards may be recycled by using pencil so the recipient may send them on and rub out and rewrite the special occasion Tesco Value card.
The "With Sympathy" card is my fav!

Don't you just love the interweb!
This is why we all love YouTube and the internet in general.

Super Tuesday
It's all about Super Tuesday today...
Who's Backing Who was an interesting section I found on the BBC website relating to the US Presidential Race.
For the Democrats, there are heavyweights like Spielberg and Streisand backing Clinton while Oprah and the Kennedys are backing Barack.
On the Republican side, the current favourite John McCain has rallied support from Stallone and Schwarznegger and Mitt Romney has gained the public support of the Osmonds.
Then you get to Mike Huckabee...
Who has these two super weights behind him...

Yes, Chuck Norris and the former wrestler Ric Flair have given their public backing to Mike Huckabee.
He surely has to win now...

Thriller
Doing funny things on public transport...
You've probably viewed the Financial Regulator ad re-done on a bus...
But now, it's time for Michael Jackson's Thriller...done on the Tube in London

And so it's time to come back
So my hiatus from RatherSnazzy is over. Things were a bit mental in the run up to Christmas, so it was time to take a break.
I also don't believe in starting things in January. Resolutions are for numpties! How many people actually keep them? So what better day to start back blogging than on Feb 1st...the first day of spring.
Not really sure what direction to take this blog in going forward. Am sure it will just be the usual ramblings, funnies and some plain "just weird stuff".
But for now...for all those who have recently had some bundles of joy...here are a few timely tips:
